“আরিফাবাদ” শুধু একটি আবাসিক এলাকার নাম নয়; এটি সৌহার্দ্য, সম্প্রীতি ও পারস্পরিক বন্ধনে আবদ্ধ একটি পরিবারের প্রতিচ্ছবি। ১৯৯৪ সালের ১৪ই এপ্রিল (১লা বৈশাখ) যাত্রা শুরুর পর থেকে কিছু উদ্যমী, দূরদর্শী ও আত্মত্যাগী সুহৃদ ব্যক্তির অক্লান্ত পরিশ্রম, আন্তরিকতা এবং বলিষ্ঠ নেতৃত্বের মাধ্যমে আজকের অবস্থানে পৌঁছেছে আরিফাবাদ আবাসিক মালিক কল্যাণ সমিতি। প্রতিষ্ঠালগ্ন থেকে যাঁদের দূরদৃষ্টি, নিষ্ঠা ও ঐকান্তিক প্রচেষ্টায় এই আবাসিক এলাকাটি একটি সুশৃঙ্খল, নিরাপদ ও বাসযোগ্য পরিবেশে রূপ লাভ করেছে, তাঁদের মধ্যে উল্লেখযোগ্য হলেন জনাব ওবায়দুর রশিদ, জনাব রবিউল আলম খান, জনাব শহিদুল হক খান, জনাব আব্দুল ফাত্তাহ, জনাব জানে আলম খান প্রমুখ। বর্তমানেও একঝাঁক নিবেদিতপ্রাণ কার্যনির্বাহী সদস্য নিজেদের মূল্যবান সময়, শ্রম ও অর্থ ব্যয় করে জনকল্যাণে নিরলসভাবে কাজ করে চলেছেন। তাঁদের সম্মিলিত প্রচেষ্টায় আরিফাবাদ আজ মিরপুরের অন্যতম সৌহার্দ্যপূর্ণ, সামাজিক ও নিরাপদ আবাসিক পরিবেশের উজ্জ্বল দৃষ্টান্ত। সকলের সহযোগিতা, সম্প্রীতি ও সক্রিয় অংশগ্রহণের মাধ্যমে আরিফাবাদকে একটি আদর্শ শান্তির নীড়ে পরিণত করাই আমাদের মূল লক্ষ্য ও অঙ্গীকার।
“Arifabad” is not merely the name of a residential area; it is a reflection of a family bound together by goodwill, harmony, and mutual bonds. Since its journey began on 14 April 1994 (1st Boishakh), Arifabad Residential Owners Welfare Association has reached its present position through the tireless efforts, sincerity, and strong leadership of a number of energetic, visionary, and self-sacrificing individuals.
Among those whose foresight, dedication, and wholehearted efforts since the very inception of the association helped transform this residential area into an orderly, safe, and livable community are Mr. Obaidur Rashid, Mr. Rabiul Alam Khan, Mr. Shahidul Haque Khan, Mr. Abdul Fattah, Mr. Jane Alam Khan, and others.
Even today, a dedicated team of executive members continues to work tirelessly for the welfare of the community, devoting their valuable time, effort, and personal resources. Through their collective efforts, Arifabad has become one of the shining examples of a harmonious, socially connected, and safe residential community in Mirpur.
